Dermol 200 Shower Emollient is an antimicrobial and emollient treatment you apply to your skin as part of your regular showering routine.

It helps to treat and prevent dry and itchy skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. 

Dermol 200 contains two active ingredients, benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, which are antimicrobials. These help combat bacteria on the skin that can make eczema worse and prevent infection caused by scratching itchy skin.

The product also contains liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate, emollients that help soften, moisturise and protect your skin by trapping moisture and restoring its natural protective function. They prevent your skin from drying and protect you from the irritant effects caused by washing and bathing, as well as the soaps, foaming additives, and fragrances used in ordinary skin cleansing products.

Always use Dermol 200 Shower Emollient exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

For best results, you should use Dermol 200 regularly whenever you shower. 

For use as a soap substitute, use Dermol 200 Shower Emollient instead of ordinary soap or shower gel. It will not foam or lather like ordinary cosmetic products. After washing or showering, pat the skin dry with a soft towel (avoid rubbing, as this can make dry skin conditions worse). 

For use as a leave-on application (e.g. after showering), apply Dermol 200 Shower Emollient to the affected areas. If necessary, allow time for any excess to soak in. Do not rub the skin vigorously. Reapply as often as required. 

If you are applying another treatment to the same areas of skin as Dermol 200 Shower Emollient, try to avoid mixing the two products. Alternating treatments and leaving sufficient time for the previous application to soak in can achieve this.

Delivery will be charged at £5.49 for orders to the value of £49.99 or less within Northern Ireland

Delivery will be charged at £5.99 for orders to the value of £49.99 or less within Great Britain standard postcodes.

Orders over the value of £50.00 will be free of charge (applicable to orders delivered to Great Britain (standard postcodes) and Northern Ireland).

Delivery will be charged at €7.95 for deliveries to the Republic of Ireland. With Free delivery for orders over £60.

Chemavet intend to deliver all orders within 3 working days whenever possible. The term 'working days' means Monday-Friday, excluding bank and legal holidays. If the courier has tried to contact you with the product within the ten working days you will not be eligible for the refund.

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, your order will be cancelled. We will contact you by email, to either refund or amend your order.
