Chemavet was recently formed as part of EL Gillan Pharmacy, which was estabished in 1984; a family run business by Eamonn & Nuala Gillan and they have been joined by their son Eoin.

The business covers the middle Glens of Antrim including the villages of Cushendall, Cushendun & Glenariffe. From the outset we ran a veterinary sales division, mostly because of the shops rural setting. The veterinary sales extended to England, Scotland even as far North, as Shetland. 

The pharmacy itself also provides dispensing of prescriptions, Vaccinations, Earwax Removal by appointment, Smoking Cessation scheme and much more. We are fortunate to have an experienced, loyal staff, one of whom has been with us since 1985.
