Indications for use

Toxovax is a live vaccine for the active immunisation of susceptible breeding female sheep to reduce the effects of infection by Toxoplasma gondii, namely early embryonic death, barrenness and abortion.

A single 2 ml, intramuscular injection is given at least 3 weeks prior to mating.

Vaccination with Toxovax is known to protect for at least two lambing seasons. Toxovax can be given concurrently with Enzovax.

Presentation

Concentrate and diluent for suspension for injection.

Concentrate: cloudy suspension. Diluent (Unisolve): colourless solution.

Active ingredients

Live, concentrated vaccine containing ≥ 105 tachyzoites of the S48 strain of Toxoplasma gondii per dose. Unisolve is supplied as a diluent for dilution prior to use.

Target species

Sheep (ewes).

Orders over the value of £50.00 will be free of charge (applicable to orders delivered to Great Britain (standard postcodes) and Northern Ireland).

Delivery will be charged at €7.95 for deliveries to the Republic of Ireland. With Free delivery for orders over £60.
