It shrinks piles, relieves discomfort and soothes itching. It's formulated to calm the irritation and relieve the sore, cracked skin associated with piles.

Anusol Plus HC Suppositories contain a combination of ingredients that work together to treat haemorrhoids and provide relief from itching and swelling. They also discourage bacteria from growing in the affected area, protecting areas that are raw and sore. 

These ingredients include:

  • Hydrocortisone acetate
  • Zinc oxide
  • Bismuth salts
  • Balsam of Peru 
  • Benzyl benzoate 

How to use?

Gently wash and dry the affected area before using this product.

Wash your hands before and after use. 

Remove 1 suppository from its plastic cover and insert it into your back passage. Make sure it is far enough inside that it won't slip out.

Insert 1 suppository at night, 1 first thing in the morning and 1 after each bowel movement.

Do not use more than 3 suppositories a day, and do not use for more than 7 days at a time

Warnings

  • Read the patient information leaflet carefully before use
  • Do not use in pregnancy without medical advice. If you continually suffer from haemorrhoids, if the condition is not improved, or if rectal bleeding occurs consult your doctor
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
  • Do not use if you have fungal, viral or bacterial skin sores
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are taking any other medicines or have rectal bleeding
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age
  • Do not swallow product
  • Keep out of reach and sight of children
  • Do not store above 25°C

You can choose to collect your order from our pharmacy in Cushendall (8 Mill Street Cushendall, BT440RR). Please allow up to 1 working day for your order to be available. You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection. This service is FREE.

Delivery will be charged at £5.49 for orders to the value of £49.99 or less within Northern Ireland

Delivery will be charged at £5.99 for orders to the value of £49.99 or less within Great Britain standard postcodes.

Orders over the value of £50.00 will be free of charge (applicable to orders delivered to Great Britain (standard postcodes) and Northern Ireland).

Delivery will be charged at €7.95 for deliveries to the Republic of Ireland. With Free delivery for orders over £60.

We also deliver to postcodes in the following regions:

Chemavet intend to deliver all orders within 3 working days whenever possible. The term 'working days' means Monday-Friday, excluding bank and legal holidays. It is possible that an order may be delayed due to no fault of our own; we at Chemavet have the right to extend this delivery period for a maximum of ten days after the order was placed before cancellation or refund can occur.

We will endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 12.00 noon Monday to Friday on the same day (excluding Bank Holidays).

Please allow extra delivery time for some areas of Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland

If the courier has tried to contact you with the product within the ten working days you will not be eligible for the refund.

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, your order will be cancelled. We will contact you by email, to either refund or amend your order.
